F350 VISION SC – Automatic Friction Feeder with Integrated Scanner

The F350 VISION SC  integrates a professional friction feeder with a scanner (smart camera) and specialised software in a flexible and easy-to-use machine for the most popular barcode, datamatrix and OCR scanning applications or quality control  for flat products such as labels, coupons, envelopes, lottery tickets, pharmaceutical cartons.

A full range of sensors is available to suit the speed, reading range and distance required by the product.

Beside the scanning of 1D/2D codes, other applications include: OCR and dimensional inspection, image analysis (shape/colour), conformity verification (presence/absence of features). Since F350 VISION SC is controlled by a PLC, it is possible to adapt the machine’s programming code to the logic of the application.

About OCS friction feeding technology

With a great experience since 1986 in counting sheets and security documents, B.Matic has created this friction feeder equipped with OCS (Opposite Cantilever Shafts) technology. The main advantages of OCS are summarized below:

1. Easy replacement of the feeding belts in a 3 minutes. (Periodic operation required on all friction feeders)

2. Adjustment of the width of the feeding and exit belts in a few seconds.

3. Differentiated speed of the ejection belts for optimal separation.

4. The axial movements are carried out on recirculating ball guides with graduated scales.
