TAB-IN PUSH – Tab Inserter machine with simplified interface

TAB-IN PUSH is the simplified interface version of the TAB-IN Counter. This unit must be controlled by a PLC or external electronics, but has an internal board that makes it fully functional with only 2 signals. Like the TAB-IN MDX, it is a simplified version of the TAB-IN Counter, our main tab insertion machine.

They are powered by their own connection (230 VAC) and have an internal electronic board with relays so that tab insertion can be controlled directly from the PLC.

In addition, they are equipped with two buttons to activate and cut the test tabs when the tape is replaced. The system can be integrated with optional end-of-tape and tape jam sensors.

Finally, the TAB-IN PUSH can also be equipped with a double tape roll to automatically activate the second roll in line at the end of the first one without operator intervention, thus doubling the autonomy of the machine.

APPLICATIONS:

  • high or low pile printing presses
  • web and sheetfed
  • die-cutting machines, coating machines, polymer foil production
  • pouch production machines

TAB-IN Complete Range

TAB-IN range: B.MATIC’s complete and innovative line of tabbed insertion machines for the paper and graphic arts industry has the reliability of the past combined with the latest technology. The first B.MATIC tab insertion machine was developed 38 years ago to meet the demands of the printing and converting industry, and since then the TAB-IN range has combined innovation, experience and durability.

From the simple mechanical insertion unit controlled by external electronics, to the complete unit with electronics and sensors for quick installation, the TAB-IN catalogue is able to meet a wide range of needs.

Application via pedestal or fixing bracket.

Technical Specifications

PRECISE FEEDING: A double rib is stamped on the output flag to ensure straight and precise feeding from first to last, ‘DOUBLE RIBBING’ technology. Powerful AC motor for precise belt feeding.

LESS FREQUENT STOPS: Thanks to 200 m rolls with 80 gsm belt thickness. Design and construction generally focused on reducing the probability of jamming.

MINIMUM WEAR OF THE CUTTING SYSTEM: The new ROTOCUT 2013 is made with a thick, ground and treated steel frame and a compact body for minimal wear. Lever traction system for greater cutting force and to reduce bending and, consequently, wear on the traction cable. Reversible (right/left) .

LESS PILE DEFORMATION IN CASE OF FREQUENT INSERTS: With the 80 GSM tape inserts the pile deformation will be less than with thicker tape inserts.

FLEXIBILITY: When installation space is limited, the reel holder can be rotated or even detached from the main body and fixed separately. Installation with various types of sensors and impulse cables. Angular and vertical positioning, side, front and rear. The optional steel nozzle can be easily shortened in 100 mm intervals (standard 500 mm).

OPEN AND STRONG TAPE CHANNEL: Tape guide without cover, the tape slides along the internal grooves. One robust, CNC-machined aluminium casting. Extremely resistant to external impacts. Open channel for quick inspection and equipped with an anti-jamming effect device to reduce maintenance time.
